Reverb Transducers?

Anyone know of a place that sells reverb transducers, or am I just better off buying a cheaper reverb tank and parting it out?

I did build a spring reverb once using piezo ceramic phono cartridges.

Why do you want just transducers, anyway?

Phono cartridges like the ones for record players? I've seen a few pics of vox reverbs like that with the spring soldered to the needle.

I want just the transducers because I've been collecting springs from cheap "echo-mic" toys and lighters (which are probably way too small for a reverb) and I'd like to attempt to fit a reverb into a pedal enclosure. I've considered using peizos or small speakers to see how'd they compare to a standard reverb tank, but mounting the springs and devices is a hurdle I'd rather not have my mind jump over if I can help it. That being said, there's probably a handful of reasons as to why I shouldn't try to fit a spring reverb into a pedal.

Yes, old record player ones. Google turned up an interesting article on repairing 30s - 40s cartridges with slices out of piezo transducers.
