I make headstock decals for PST Guitars from time to time. Very cool guy who does custom stuff and repairs guitars and such. I am been on a baritone kick lately, but haven't been able to find a version I really like. Most of them are set neck or very limited with options. I figured I would give him a message to see if he could build me a guitar to my specs and he was up to the challenge. Below is what I asked for.

Telecaster Deluxe look but with regular humbuckers instead of WRHB.
Alder body.
27 scale maple neck with big paddle headstock. (Black dot and black bound.)
12 radius and D flat neck profile. (Like my Uni's I dig so much.)
Jazz and Distortion covered humbuckers.
Added slider switch on lower horn to coil split.
Single ply black pickguard.
Matte black body.
Added forearm and tummy cut.
1 meg pots.
Electrostatic jack.
Dual design strap locks.
He selected high end tuners and bridge to help make sure it has great tuning and intonation.

It is going to be so hot. I am super excited. Pics incoming.

He did a great job getting that flatter D shape profile I wanted to be similar to my favorite Japanese necks.

Nice! It's really coming together. What colour is the neck going to be? Clear or more of a vintage hue?

I never knew they were called that until this project, but I love them as well. Maybe because I have big hands? Hard to say. They fit my palm well.

i have very small hands and a flat d profile with a slightly wider nut suits me very well

The body has its curves! Also some of the other parts arrived.

The neck is darker tint wise than I was thinking, but I am really liking the look. It really makes the flame pop. I can't wait to see it clear-coated.

That neck is awesome.

He thought the darker tint would look more beastly.

Oh I don't know if I mentioned, but I normally make PST's decals for his custom guitars. I made this one for this guitar. I tried to mix his design with the Fender look.

And since this one is custom for me, I made this to go on the back. My signature with a picture from "Scary Stories to tell in the Dark." When I was young, it was one of my favorite books. I loved the art in it. In high school and college it was an influence as I made art. Now that I teach art, I love seeing kids still reading that series. Since this baritone will be a monster, it seemed appropriate.
