We've had a week off and just finished off a re-order/paint of the music room.

Apart from a banjo that is just out of shot (a Deering, natch) and Cheryl's guitar (my old Epiphone Les Paul)this is everything I have now - from 30+ down to 9, everything else is either sold, or up for sale. Sorry the pic isn't any better, but a step further back I'd be out the window!

From right to left:

2014 Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Class 5
2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional
1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe
2012 Gibson ES339
Martin 00-15ME
1964 Fender Jazzmaster
1967 Fender Coronado II
Squier Bass VI with vintage trem, Staytrem bridge and La Bella flatwounds
Aria Magna fretless bass, also with La Bella flatwounds

Amps

Roland Micro Cube (side on)
Marshall hand wired 1958x 2x10 18watt

Very cool. Lovely array of Gibson guitars too. I've always fancies a Musicmaster amp too. Smashing setup!

Great setup you've got there. When I grow up and become a proper adult I'd love to have a room like that in a house. Currently my entire flat has all my equipment spread through it, much to the annoyance of my flatmate...

Looks good mate.

What's with all the Les Pauls though, Slashtonez?

Back to my roots I suppose, my only guitar for years was a Les Paul. I got the P90 one a while back, then the Class 5. The Class 5 is the best guitar I've ever owned by a fair way, and prompted selling off most of my guitars. I honestly couldn't believe how well it plays.

But yeah, Slashtonez. I've got the JCM800 on order...

Gabriel - I don't think I'd get away with having guitars and amps all around the house - having a room with it all in is a bit of a luxury and keeps me from annoying Cheryl when I'm practicing

A room like that would be a dream come true!

I didn't know you had a 00-15ME, I own the older 00-15 model with cheap tuners and decal rosette (and I think I always will).

Everything you'd ever need from an LP between those 3 as well, very nice.

nice but looks really cramped.

not sure the Gibsons so close to the radiator is a good idea either.

Awesome, I was a bit surprised when you started selling off gear, I don't think I could ever bring myself to do it

The angle of the photo makes it look smaller than it really is, it's a double bedroom. Although bedrooms over here aren't all that big in comparison with other countries, we are a bit crammed into a small island.

Everyone mentions the radiator  I'm not daft, it is switched off, the room doesn't really need it, even in winter.

Paul - it's all the acoustic I'll ever need I think.

Finboy - it's been surprisingly easy to let them go actually. It was great to own them all, but I haven't regretted selling any.

It's amazing how loud it is on the 1 watt setting - same with the 18 watt Marshall. Flat out it is painfully loud. Both sound great though. I don't know why, but as I get older I prefer a less distorted sound, not clean, but not really saturated either.

Well you'd hardly need the heating on if you've three valve amps running in the same room...

Looks great. Very jealous of your Marshalls. That wee one is cool as fuck.

Looks great Nick.

I've finally got a room to keep all my stuff in but it looks like a bombsite at the moment compared to your lovely organised room. You're inspiring me to get decorating and then sort it all out.

+1 on the Marshall admiration too. Was looking at the HW 1974X (?) at one point but think it would have been far too loud for my uses. Got a Class 5 in the end, which is also pretty loud frankly.

1974x is the 1x12 version of mine I think. I use it with an attenuator at the moment, but I will hopefully be gigging with it. The Marshall Class 5 is a great amp - is yours the version with the low power switch?

Ben - The Les Paul Deluxe sounds like a Tele (really, it does) is that close enough.
