Looks like Mooer have finally made an octave pedal that tracks nearly as well as a micro pog!

Decent tracking for the case, interesting difference in timbre. Silly how I kept waiting to hear more diversity in demo dude's playing, all w/Damon singing in my ear..."Come on come on come on, get though it..."

"Well, I have to say, after a few days, amazingly good!!
I've owned a micro pog before and I would say that this little mooer is 95% of the way there when it comes to sound quality and tracking.
The only thing that I've found to cause very slight glitching is full strummed ringing 6 string chords. For 2, 3, 4 note polyphonic chords it tracks extremely well. For single note runs even at speed it seems to me to be absolutely flawless. For white stripes type stuff it's brilliant. For arpeggiated 12 string types sounds it's great. For just 1 oct down bass simulation it does a very good job. I am super impressed. It runs quietly and the sound quality of the octaves up and down are suberb.
When I say that it's 95% of the way there, it's only because the micro pog seems somehow almost magic at tracking and I haven't found anything else to come close!! To give you an idea of how good I think the Mooer is, I would say that my Eventide H9 is only about 80% of the way there when it comes to full chord tracking.
I know the other Mooer octave and pitch shifter pedals were absolutely terrible by all accounts. Well they've certainly listened to criticism and put that right this time. Especially if you intend to use it only for single note or short chord runs (as most seem to use octave pedals for) you can't go wrong. And when I say it glitches at full 6 string chords it's by no means terrible. Just slightly noticable that's it's not perfect. Oh, and it also sounds great for ambient organ type swells with a volume pedal.
It's a third the price and half the size of the new nano pog. What's not to like!"
