Mustang Bass: Does a Fender Pickguard fit a Squier?

The pickguard of my squier mustang bass has been twisted/curved a little, so i'm thinking about replacing it. Does any mustang bass pickguard fit or is it as complicated as by mustang guitars?

i would not be surprised if it didn't fit. the screw placement on pickguards can vary even within different models of the same guitar made in the same factory.

In my experience they often fit the body shape just fine but most times the screw holes/neck pocket/electronics and pickup routes are slightly off. I never feel bad about putting a few extra hidden holes in a squier to make it look nicer, as resale won't be affected that much.
