I've always wondered how the sound board will hold up on an acoustic against a tremolo. I wonder if it is blocked up under there? Has to dampen the sound some. Anyway, very rock-a-billy cool.

The tremolo is a bigsby. it is held in place on the side of the guitar, so it does not bend the soundboard and probably works better than most acoustic bridges in the long run. I have once played this and it was really cool. I like acoustics with magnetic pickups, but honestly the tremolo on an acoustic guitar is a gimmicky feature.

My buddy Grant plays one of these in his band Cottonwoolf. Honestly, it looks really cool and I imagine it sounds great unplugged, but through a PA it sounds kind of crap...

Is imagine it needs a guitar amp to shine, maybe like a fender amp or something?

Yeah. It is not meant for pa, but for like a twin or a similar clean tube amp.

It's an electric guitar through and through, forget the PA. Presumably it's internally braced, takes nickel strings and sounds comprehensively shite mic'd up.
