Looking for an upgrade multi effects from my Digitech rp500 . I don't have the space to make a pedal board. So to the point what's the best multi effects board out there?
I've been looking at the Line 6 M13, Digitech rp1000 and Zoom 5n but if there is better that I'm overlooking I'll consider it.
What would you recommend if you were looking to buy the best multi effects pedal?

My son ended up gigging the M13. I couldn't find a good Leslie sound on it in the shop but it does everything he wants on stage except freeze for which he has an EHX.

Digging the boss me-80. Shits tight and I think the effects are editable and patchable too if you're handy. I just use mine stock, tons of options and pedal combos to work with.

Have used the M9 for years, primarily for delays and modulation, love it.

i quit using them.. closest thing to a multi that i currently use is the ehx epitome. It's expensive but so awesome. It's 3 pedals in one enclosure

Ye Olde Boss ME-5. It has the DS-1(good version), OD-2, CE-2, CS-3, DD-2(awesome hybrid delay), BF-2 and RV-3(or RV2?) plus an EQ.

I can't get on with those Digitech RP boards. When I press the two pedals to engage the tuner it sometimes scrolls through the menu at a rapid pace, leaving you about twelve patches from were you want to be and no tuner. It's too finicky for me.
Boss and Line 6, obvious suggestions, another brand I like but often gets overlooked is Korg. You can pick up an older AX1500 for little money.
The heavier dirt settings are quite good, Overdrive not so much, but are they ever on these things? Everything else reasonably good.

You can get a preowned Boss GT series for not much money and they're great, loads of pedals plus amp/cab emulation and loads of dedicated outs. I've had 2 M9s and I'm actually contemplating getting rid of it again. Doog's right, the modulation is good on there but the whole thing always have a weird sound to me. Like it sounds more sterile than the Boss or something.
