Andertons have got a load of blurb up:
Andertons blurb wrote:The mighty TC Electronic have done it again with a mammoth announcement of a whole new range of analogue pedals!

Normally we are drip-fed new pedals but they’ve just unleashed 13 new pedals on the world and look like they may have revolutionised the affordable pedal market once again. These pedals are seriously good value for money. They’re all £49!
All of the new pedals are built like tanks with an aluminium chassis and feature top-loaded jack inputs making them space-savers when used on a board with a switching system like the Boss ES-5. And because they run on 9v of power, you can easily integrate them into your current set up.

So, let’s have a look at what’s on the horizon.

Drive & More drive

TC Electronic have dived headfirst into a range of new drive pedals including a fuzz (prayers have been answered).

Grand Magus Distortion – Organic Tube-Like distortion with tight bottom-end and natural sag
Rusty Fuzz – Silicon-based transistor fuzz with vintage gated and velcro-like fuzz tones
Cinders Overdrive – Tube-like overdrive with highly responive harmonics
Fangs Metal Distortion – Ultra-thick, high-gain distortion with tight response

A Stitch In Time

Create ambience and lush beds of guitar tone with delay and reverb.

Skysurfer Reverb – Studio quality reverb with award winning TC Electronic algorithms – This is the only digital pedal in the range.
The Prophet Digital Delay – Studio quality digital delay with award-winning TC Electronic Algorithm
Echobrain Analogue Delay – Vintage-style Delay pedal with All-Analogue Bucket Brigade circuit

In Dynamics

Control your distortion and boost yourself for solos with the new compressor & booster pedal.
Rush Booster – Transparent clean boost with 20dB gain
Forcefield Compressor – Classic compressor/limiter pedal with endless sustain

Stop! Modulate

Get your guitar swirling and whirling with some warm analogue modulation pedals.

Tailspin Vibrato – Classic true pitch vibrato with all-analogue bucket-brigade design
Thunderstorm Flanger – Vintage-style Flanger with all-analogue bucket-brigade circuit
Afterglow Chorus – Vintage-style chorus pedal with all-analogue bucket-brigade circuit
Blood Moon Phaser – Vintage-style Phaser pedal with four-stage filter and all-analogue circuit

So with all of these tasty new pedals announced, I guess the question is, which will you be getting first?

Haha. Yeah, I noticed that. But they don't pay me to check their copy so I left it :)

Hmmmm. Someone over on *amber* is saying these are re-workings of old Behringer pedals. I think Behringer own TC Electronic these days so I suppose that's possible.

So I wonder if that means these are based on the Boss etc clones Behringer used to make? :?

Interesting especially as like been said beringher own tc (the new behringer synth has effects by tc) & looking at the price point.

And the synth supposedly has discreet components for the effects so it all fits together. I'm kinda hoping the synth hits first quarter next year as I want to be able to afford it if it turns out as good as it appears to be.

Isn't the synth supposed to be out before Christmas?

Supposed to be but it wasn't too long ago they were saying they are still negotiating down the component price because they're ordering in way higher volume due to the demand for the synth.

We might see it before the end of the year but probably not in enough numbers to be easy to buy.

They were supposed to have the shop demo models in selected stores (like the one my friend works in) but they've even missed the window for that.

Ah, right, cheers. I'd stopped following the thread on Gearslutz because of the usual nonsense.

The fact the Sonicstate demo model isn't even the final/actual build I dunno when we'll actually see these out in the world to buy.

I still want one tho.

RRP is 999 of your US dollars. Fuck knows what that's going to mean in Island pounds given the tanking exchange rate.
