Jazzmaster XII that I slapped together

Post by WaldoJeffers »

Anyone else ever done this before. I am certain I'm not the first to. Before and after I removed the white overspray. Easy Off Oven Cleaner is magical.

Thanks for the Easy Off tip. I'll give it a try if the opportunity arises.

The Coronado was a donor guitar. In addition to the neck, I used the bridge saddle, pots, switch and jack. The 1967 Coronado XII cost me $1300, but I'll sell off what is left, and hopefully drive my cost down. The 1964 JM body ran me $500 and the pickups were $100 or so for the pair. Either way it all ended up being less than a Fender Electric XII from that era.

Just not the Heavy Duty... it uses lye.
