So I have been a naughty boy and bought the Rowin LTD-02 Time Maker (a.k.a. Donner Ultimate Delay) at lunchtime. There is one review on Amazon.co.uk that says it's a nice box but died after 3 gigs, but they pointed out that it was covered by a warranty and it was in the sale at ยฃ59. I did also try the Rowin micro harmoniser pedal but was unimpressed.
Interesting features:
- Stereo in/out
- Up to 4 second delay
- USB interface so you can use it as a recording/playback device.
- USB or 9v power
- tap tempo
- 11 modes including modulated echo, pitch change echo, tremolo-ed echo, reverse echo, lo-fi echo (adjustable resolution), ping-pong echo
- "Hold" mode (can use as a mini looper up to 4 sec)

DANG, I've been looking for an affordable box that'll do the whole 'delays that are pitchshifted each repeat' thing for a while; it even sounds surprisingly non-wobbly.
Dig the Lofi mode too, not sure if it's ringmoddy or bitcrushy, but it's nice.
Might have to pick one of these (or the Donner) up, gonna watch eBay for something used maybe..

eBay says ยฃ48 or less direct from China...do you feel lucky?

This is one occasion when I think true bypass is a drawback because the USB is only usable when the effect is engaged. TBH if it wasn't under warranty I'd look at modding it to remove true bypass! A little slide switch on the side... You can also use it as an audio output device (when I connect it to the laptop it grabs the audio out by default) but I haven't tried that yet to see how that works - does the feedback get applied to the USB signal?
