i have been charged with selling this Epiphone Texan FT-79 that i think is a 40s neck on a 50s body, but having a shitassdick time sorting the serial on the butt of the neck, and the one on the tag inside.
where the fuck do i even sell this? eBay? CRAGLIST? HELP
it's pretty cool because it smells good and tastes good but also looks nicely aged, no crackstock or any bullshittery, but needs cleaned up and TLCd. should i do all that, or does adding bridge pins and new strings really change the value, any?
is this even really a guitar or have i just been out of guitars for so long that i think this is a guitar but it's actually a dang cello

I'd get it appraised by a vintage guitar specialist then sell it on Reverb

I don't know how much are they. Vintage Japanese guitars are not considered "vintage" yet, as I understand. Is it a bolt on or setneck guitar? I'd put it under the bed and sell in 15 years or so. Though even then it might cost a lot with nobody wanting to buy it - there are vintage Gibsons for ridiculous money stuck on ebay for a decade
