$59 Tele

I got this at a local pawn shop yesterday for $59 including a nice padded gig bag. I figured a cheap tele is still a tele and I didn't have one. Plus it is a '99 so nearly vintage,lol.
It's got twice the tone of most guitars,lol.

Looks like an Affinity model, so, no. Those actually sound and play pretty decent though. Great modding platforms, especially at that price. Makes me want a cheap Tele.

Nice score. I had one of those in that color. I still have one in black. Those pickups are trash tho

Nice catch man! It wouldn't surprise me its good but I bet shadow is right and probably would be better with better pickups.
Or maybe they already have been modded who knows till you check.
I've been itching for a tele for some reason lately. Since I've never owned one and never cared to play one up until I got older. Always thought they sounded way too twangy for me. But I've heard some Teles with replaced pickups in them to beef the bridge twang out and I love how they sound.
