NAsD - Hotone 3x

I supposed it's a 3x NAD at best? Or a 2+1? Or a 1+2.

Here's what happened.

#1.

My Hotone British Invasion (Vox copy) died this morning. There's been issues with the electrical due to lots of storm weather, and at some point my amp got fried. Well, Amazon's awesome, and they're going above and beyond to replace it under warranty.

Then #2.

After I finished talking with the Amazon support person, I checked out my account and realized I had almost $60 in Amazon credit. I personally really liked the tone of the British Invasion, so went ahead and bought the Purple Wind (Plexi) for $27 out of pocket.

And #3.

I was on a spree, I needed to get a third Hotone amp in a different flavor. Well, to have one functioning small amp at home while the other two arrived. I checked various websites, and found a $20 off $100 purchase Sam Ash coupon. I had some money hanging out in my Paypal and Venmo accounts, So I ordered the Mojo Diamond (Tweed) for in-store pickup, at a total cost of $39 out of pocket.

I suppose all that's left is the Rectifier clone. And maybe the Ampeg SVT clone... except I don't have a bass or a bass cabinet.

Are the Hotone amps any good? I've always seen them at Sam Ash and wanted to try them but have never had the chance. I live in an apartment so I have all my big amps at the practice house w my other band stuff, but I'd like something that isn't a shitty digital combo for home use.

With a good broken-in speaker, they're 99% there.

If you buy the Vox or the Marshall, get it on Amazon - you get their awesome service, and those amps tend to be cheaper on Amazon.

I remember reading on the internet that someone got that one for guitar because they liked the cleans.

So I think I'm sold on the Dual Rec clone. When I get paid from my second job next week I'm gonna order one. It'll be nice to have something I can use at my apartment that doesn't sound like ass

I was watching the videos for that, it's kind of cool but still really sounds solid-state to me.

Did you order it?
