Wait, so Trump's got it wrong and Iran are going into the pedal clone business?

If it doesn't have his name on it, I'll buy one.

Add a mids knob they won't.

There are so many amazing clones of this particular pedal. Tbh I don't see the point. EHX just wants to max out their SKUs.

My reaction to this is pretty much the same as with the Russian reissue: great idea, but I'm baffled as to why EHX decided to take so long over it and lose so many potential sales over the years.

The EYE SEE PI is crazy expensive.
I've been building this design with an added mids control for yonks. I knew it was only a matter of time before they reissued it to cash in on it's resurgence
Very amusing Billy Corgan is also involved.

I'm not sure anyone got my joke.

tbh I totally get Corgan's involvement as a bit of an ice-breaker in bringing it back. I imagine they're explaining a lot more to him about which Big Muff he likes than the implied other way round. If anything it just reinforces that EHX are slow to understand the market, but in a product lineup where they've got about 8 muffs out they probably acknowledge that more cursory and/or younger pedal buyers are going to see yet another Muff reissue in lieu of some announcement about some freshly R&D'd "Hooker Strangler Defronkulation Device with MIDI output" and are gonna go "oh boy, ANOTHER Muff, what's the deal with this one" Bringing up that it was the precise design of Muff behind some classic '90s Pumpkins (which was largely responsible for the Muff's appeal with the new generation of EHX devotees who bought the green sovteks in the first place) isn't a terrible move.
Still, who really wants an IC Muff and DOESN'T have one at this point? I think eventually they're going to get to every Muff that ever was, as long as there's some boutique version of a ram's head/triangle/etc... doing well out there.

Me, and probably many other people who dont wanna pay for a 'spensive clone or vintage model. I'm personally really glad that they're officially reissuing it.

Me too. I'm all over this shit. I got a Wren and Cuff Tri Pie a few years ago and didn't have the best experience. It failed on me, and rather than try to fix it I claimed under warranty. I had to send it to the States, and when I asked if I should send it recorded delivery, they said don't worry, nothing ever gets lost. Low and behold, they never received it, then kinda game me the impression that they thought I hadn't sent it. They sent me a replacement, but were kinda shitty in their tone.
So yeah, fuck buying their eye see pi. In fact, I liked my BMP tone wicker almost as much as the wren and cuff, so I'm all over an official reproduction.

I have owned a few Muffs over the years EHX & homemade/boutique. The best one or rather the one that works best for me is the Deluxe Big Muff that came out a couple years ago, it covers a lot of ground and is very tweakable and cheap for what you get.
Kitrae has posted settings to get to various muff types including ICBM

Are you still building them btw? I had a chance to buy one of yours from Thom (I think), but hesitated and sort of regret doing so.

If you or anyone else are interested I've still got my MBM one. It's a great pedal, but I just don't use it nowadays due to the general reduction in guitar time.

Yes I still build them
£80 or £90 with an added mids control
I doubt EHX will beat my pricing by much even if they do beat it by mass production. Time will tell
Basically don't file me as 'expensive boutique' as I'm anything but

Thanks Thom and Mike.
Currently on a quest for a Marshall Guv'nor, but quite possible I'd seek out a MBM ICBM in the future. It's on my list.
