i thought i made a thread about this guitar I built this year for myself but I cant be assed to find it. anyways over the year it has become my #1 player gutiar. I love it. I beat the living shit out of it.

I found a video of me at a bachelor party out in a cabin with it dumping all the photos and videos off my phone and on to the PC.

I love that guitar. So simple yet so nice. Esquires are the best.

Reminds me of the old blue Esquire that got passed around shortscale.

That was the guitar that turned me onto Telecasters. Simplistic yet so good. Only took me 20 years...

Looks God Rob, video made me lolz as well.

Looks sweet and like Fran said reminds me of the old one which I had for a bit. Loved playing it through a rat

It's got all the same parts as the last one. Neck is from Aen. Body is double bound too!

A thing of beauty... I keep repeating in my head with Brittish accent "Squiya Esquiya"

I ended up putting a neck pickup in my white Esquire, not been impressed with it until recently. I found if I boost the Tiny Terror with a SD-1, on the neck pickup it sings. Sounds awful clean.

I can feel a 'recommend me a good Tele neck pickup' thread coming.

throw it out. spend 7 dollars on a new pickguard without a hole in it.

I've still got the old pickguard, but I like the option of a neck pickup, especially joining a covers band.

after you throw out the neck pickup, and put the old pickguard back on, quit the cover band, start a real fuckin band, even if its complete shite you are still writing your own shite with a one pickup guitar.

Fran, once I put a strat pickup in the neck position of one of my half-dozen Craigslist tele projects, I knew I could never go back.

MARTY STUART WAS RIGHT.

51 neck? I miss the old Esquier. I remember had your JS tuners on it, and then one random shitty one :)

I've got no desire to write Rob, I'm 46 and don't want to be in a real band anymore. I want to have fun playing songs ive liked for years and see an actual audience sing along.

Love this guitar. I am so in love my own Esquire. It is absolutely my favorite guitar to play. I now have scratches on the pickguard much like Rob's (after getting a Marshall Guv'nor pedal).

For the record, bought that Dano pedal used. That was a Dezb1 recommendation. Pretty good pedal, but I've sworn off Chorus again since taking that photo.
