He has both pickups on and out of phase in the initial "bridge" section on the VM Mustang.
the "middle" section is just bridge pickup.
This guy is terrible.

Can't believe I had to wait 6 minutes and 3 pickup combinations before he finally used the fucking bridge pickup like EVERY NIRVANA SONG

I don't even care what pickup is on or functioning anymore, just use what sounds good. All I know is those two guitars have equal Kurdtz going on. Especially when one guitar cuts right into the next guitar mid chord

Now that I built Padme, it's super close in aesthetics to the Sbl VM, now I notice the francestang for the first time. When before I could give zero fucks

The Offset sounds hotter, more lows and top end, but nothing an EQ pedal wouldn't make identical. Fuck, could just be older strings on the Squier, plus that maple vs rosewood fretboard biz.
I'm sure they feel different though; I couldn't stand the fatass stock neck on my VM after a while.

The comp blue sounds most like an older Fender, especially the clean parts. The red one sounds worse but for like garage type music it actually sounds good to me.

The red one has hot pickups, sounds good.
The blue comp one sounds like a Japanese 'stang, in between the red one and a vintage one. Darker and louder than a real vintage one.
Here's one guy that compares the two:

Here's my demo of a mustang that was passed around this community. Got it from Taylornutt, who got it from Serfx, who got it from hotrod? I don't know.
I get some tones out of it that were really different. It did have a red lace sensor in the bridge.
Not sure if I go through all the switching, I just mostly improvise the whole time like I always do when I post vids. I'm too lazy to structure demos, except for the pedal demos.
