NPD: Wampler Thirty Something, a Vox in a lil box

I've long-loved the sound of an AC15/30, but don't really want to house, maintain and ultimately spend the money on one.
I did a lot of research into 'Vox in a box' kinda pedals, and got a good deal on one of these Wamplers on Reverb. It arrived this morning from L.A., and I loooooooove it.
Even running into my lil' Behringer Sansamp clone (set super clean) straight into my audio interface, it feels veeeery amp-like; goes from sparkly to completely overloaded, Shellac-clangy to jazzy warmth. The 2-band EQ can overload the front for those more extreme sounds, but you can take the ear icepicky frequencies out with the Top Cut.
Only 'complaint' is that the Boost works totally independently, so I've often switched from "boosted Vox meltdown" to "SUPER FUCKING LOUD CLEAN TONE" a few times. Just an adjustment to make really, kinda useful to have it function as 2 pedals I guess.
Noodly video on the way.

I've heard demos comparing the Wampler (previous versions at least) and the Sansamp Liverpool (which the Joyo is a clone of); this just sounded better to me.
Also, you can't turn off the speaker emulation on the Joyo (and only V2 of the Sansamp), making it less useful as a normal OD pedal as it'll be doing weird EQ things than won't necessarily suit being run into a real amp and speakers.

Admittedly not an 'real demo', here's me jamming along to Rocks Off with the Stones; Silvertone > slight boost from Mooer Pure Boost > Thirty Something > Behringer Sansamp clone.
Think I had the Thirty Something set way too squashy, but I still loves it. Going back and forth with other favourite OD pedals made me realise how genuinely amp-like the Wampler feels; the other pedals felt way more 'stiff' and 'unresponsive' and all those buzzwords.
