After a few years of buying nothing, I'm gassing...

...for one of the new Marshall DSL20HR amps: LANK
Have been missing the Marshall sound, and whilst I love my Rockerverb and Princeton, I might take the plunge on this. Seems to tick all the boxes in terms of sound/features/power/size.

Also, the Boss Angry Driver has caught my eye: LANK
Been wanting a versatile dual dirt pedal and in the size of a single boss enclosure it looks/sounds great. The PGS demo is pretty good.

I might have to wander down to Mansons soon and give them both a go.
Anyone tried either of them?

I'll be honest, I'm always banging no about fenders, but every time I've played through a Marshall, I've loved it.

I tried that Boss one recently and weren’t that arsed. The BD2W is better imo.

Me too Thombola, me too.

Not bought anything that big gear wise for years, then...

Before each of my kids was born, I had a panic sale (a Jag before my son was born, a Longhorn before my daughter), reasoning that I'd be skint forever, but would replace these treasures at some stage in the future. Not wanting to jinx the second, slightly Spangle-able purchase, but I think I'm replacing them both this year!

I genuinely thought this was a joke or reference to the MT-2 or DS-1, but to my delight, it's real.

I want one too Thom. Don't care what it sounds like, I just want to be known for using one

Yeah, that DSL20H looks great. I'd like a Plexi style at some point.

Someone on the Music Mart Devon facebook group is selling a DSL5c for £200. Not really what you're after, but might be a cheaper way to scratch that itch.
