A few days ago I tuned my Jazzmaster down to C# and I've been really enjoying it, but now the tension from the strings doesnt match the tension in the tailpiece, and i havent opened that up in a while so i dont remember how it all works down there but I also don't wanna fuck shit up real bad. The spring, is there a screw that I can loosen up a bit to match the string tension? or should I bump my string gauge up from 11s to maybe 12s. I dont wanna go too high on string gauge because I really like the low tension.
