Nope.

You could take a nut from another guitar or order and install a new nut. They aren't tricky to do. No need for a tech.

Need a 42mm one. £5 online but the fuckers are outta stock.

Go all out and get a tusq one. You'll have more mojotoanz.

1) To take yours out take an utility knife and lightly slit along the border between the curved surface of the fretboard and the nut. Do that on both sides - on the side facing the headstock and on the side facing the 1st fret. Then do the same on the sides along the nut slot. You should do that in order not to chip fretboard if your nut is glued.

2) Then you need some square piece of wood and a hammer. Put a piece of wood against that side of the nut that faces the headstock and lightly tap on it with the hammer. Then put the piece of the wood on the opposite side of the nut that faces the 1st fret and again tap it carefully. Try not to break the front side of the fretboard that is before the nut tapping too hard

3) Then put the same piece of wood against the side of the nut (against the part of the nut that is over the fretboard) and tap. The nut should slide out of the slot. If it doesn't repeat #2 but do it very carefully


Fender nuts can be curved or flat at the bottom. Take out yours first to see what you have and then order a new one

I feel like that's too much 'material' to make from the talcoglue mixture, that's more for filling slots to recut.
