I've always liked the round pickup shape, not on all the Fender designs per se.

The Black Tele elite model puts it all together though, visually.

Yep, that Tele is a bit great looking. Can't decide if it would be better with rosewood board and matching headstock though. Make it look like an aerodyne.

The tailpiece is pretty cool too,the strings don't go through the body.

I've had a guitar with on/off push buttons like that and found it more of a pain than a regular 5-way. It was cool to be able to easily get neck / bridge or all three though.

The bridge is similar to other USA Strats of that era. It's an interesting design, but a pain in the ass because you have to take the pickguard off to get access to the springs.

Love that black Tele though. Can't believe how expensive they are now.
