The teaser makes it look more likely to be a MT-2 as opposed to the HM-2 that they should make.

The DC-2 sounds good.
I had the old Digital Dimension DC-3 years ago and that was also very subtle and pro sounding. The type of effect you could leave on constantly just to get a more expansive sound.
The Ibanez FL9 on low settings is also good for that, it adds warmth and makes the guitar sound big. Never tried the CS9 but I imagine it's similar. It never did John Squires sound any harm.
I think a common error a lot of less experienced guitar players make is setting their effects too high. These kind of pedals are good for controlling that.

Haha. It is subtle, unless you crank all the knobs up to full, but it does add a lovely gentle sparkle to everything, especially in stereo. I think less is more when it comes to modulation in general though. To my ears at least.

The more extreme settings work well for some players, most notably John McGeogh and Robert Smith with the Flanger, but in general it sounds too much.

Decent gear but not aimed at the likes of us. Same with the AVRI Fenders.
Don't get me wrong, I could buy one but wouldn't on principle alone. £200+ for a fucking pedal?
Players will find alternatives like they always did, and then that will get mojo hiked in years to come. It's an endless cycle.

The TC Electronic clone is mono so misses the point somewhat.
Think the Behringer clone, which had stereo out, has been discontinued now.

I was kind of hoping that it would have a toggle for a DC-3 setting (but then again, that's a digital pedal, so that wouldn't make any sense).
Here's hoping they do a BF-2w with an HF-2 setting. I have my CE-2w on the CE-1 setting at all times.
As for pricing, do UK/European dealers not ever make deals? Most places here do.
