Fender Bassbreaker 30R

I really like the look of this, especially for gigging...

- 30W 1x12"
- EL84s (Voxy tones)
- Effects loop
- 18kg!!!

Even has DI with speaker emulation.

No attenuation is a shame given how common a feature it is on modern amps but really like the tones with the Strat. £699 isn't bad for a Fender either.

Worth looking for a used one in a few months.

Looks like a nice amp though, not mad keen on the aesthetics but they do sound good.

You know that tubes themselves don't give any kind of tones. You can build a typically Fender amp tone wise with el84s using blackface era circuit only adjusting output section to accommodate tubes that start to distort much earlier. It'll have less headroom but will still have a Fender flavor to its sound

For sure, there’s been Marshalls and Mesas that use EL84s too; thems non-Voxy ladies for sure.

Without ever reading too much into them, I assumed that these were Fender's take on Marshall's take on the Bassman?
