Seems odd they'd have different fingerboard specs?

Would prefer equivalent DuoSonic but I guess they're relying on hype and novelty at this point.

They’re an oddball thing, and I echo the sentiment of wishing they were squiers. Having to order it from Fender Japan and shipped to the east coast is a dealbreaker I think.

If they’re gonna bring back any of those crazy designs I’d rather have the Performer. Those wonky pickups look cool as hell

They're cool looking, but I expect them to be super light toyish things. There's already the Squier Mustang HH and the Fender Duo-Sonics for that type of thing.

The original is super light and toyish. But it's also 22.5" scale and these are 24". The question is; are they scaled up or is the body the original size?
