Got an old pickup that might need a rewind. Any recommendations for such services in the UK?
Did it cost much?gusman2x wrote:There’s a company called oil city pickups. Rewound/repaired a tele neck pick up for me. Was very pleased.
Not 100% sure. It was sent to him by a guitar tech who was setting up the guitar. So he subbed it out. Not cheap I don’t think.lorez wrote:Did it cost much?gusman2x wrote:There’s a company called oil city pickups. Rewound/repaired a tele neck pick up for me. Was very pleased.

I'll second Mojo I've bought a few sets from him now and they've all been great.benecol wrote:What pickup is it Chris? I bought a set from mojopickups earlier his year, and he is brilliant.
Mojo's Broadcaster and Esquire bridge pickups are superb! I also have a set of mixed alnico 5/3 Mojo Strat pickups that I put in recently but i've not had time to give them a proper go yet.dezb1 wrote:I'll second Mojo I've bought a few sets from him now and they've all been great.benecol wrote:What pickup is it Chris?
