Squier was much better than Epiphone in the 2010s. Squiers with a few tweaks and mods would become superb guitars while Epiphones were always just intentionally bad copies of Gibsons, that were made only to disappoint their owners and incite them to buy "the real thing"
Let's see what they got now

I don't agree with everything sunshiner said, but Epiphones have indeed taken a massive shit quality-wise in the past decade. I do like the new [old] headstock but the fact that the line is called "inspired by Gibson" is just... really weird.

I wish they'd get their shit together and reissue the Coronet. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. They were gonna a couple years ago, there was a prototype floating about but got scrapped.

Fretboard is Indian laurel though - doesn't look at light as pau ferro?
But yes, really loving the look of the pink and blue Jags and JMs.

Pau Ferro looks alright tbh. It's weird people hating on it when Fender used to offer it as a premium feature.

God damn, I like pretty much everything here. Somehow, against all odds, the pink superstrat is making me feel some type of way.

Those Superstrats were around in the 1980’s, they were called HM Strats with the same headstock decal, they weren’t too great either.
Nice to see new colours added to the Squire range. Personally I’d pick the DuoStang out of that bunch, in bronze/shoreline gold?

I hope the new generation appreciates all the god damned Squier offsets in perfect color combinations we all fought so hard for on the internet the past 15 years.

I played a new CV jag in a store a few days ago and was impressed. These are a lot of guitar for the money.

forreal fucking loving this era of guitars. bless the internet and capitalism for finally giving us some cool guitars, even if the fingerboards aren't as cool.

That's good to hear. Did you play any of the original VM ones? If so, how does the new CV compare? I was wasn't super keen on the VM Jag I had.
