Thanks,
No, it's pretty much just a strat in vox clothing made from parts I already had. The three piece alder body is from scraps and I made the pickup surrounds from leftover pieces of pickguard.
Wiring is not my forte so just wiring it up like a strat is going to be a challenge.

That is so cool. What are those pickups, Vox, Phantom Guitar Works, other? Did you make the back plate? What is that metal plate?

Fuck! My car runs on Tubes!
When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

Thanks! The pickups are GFS 60's-70's Grey Bottoms with a set of covers from Phantom Guitar Works. The switch plate is from Phantom as well. I ordered one of their pickup surrounds
and made a template from it. I did make the back plate and the metal control plate is actually for a bass. I think I got it on ebay.
I originally was making a hollowbody with a walnut back but I had a major router tearout so that body wound up being a mandocaster and the teardrop became a solidbody with a faux f hole.

ah, o,k.,
I've seen those on Music Man basses, the above is like a lower end version.

Great builds and advanced level of craftsmanship as always. I can look at your projects all day long

Thanks!
I put the tuners on and mounted the neck this evening. I had to order some smaller parts to finish.

Not sure but I think the Revelation necks are a longer scale than the Vintage Vox ones.

The Revelation is a 25.5" scale. Not sure what the original Vox version is. Mine looks really long next to the shortscales on the wall.
