One of my pupils wants a fuzz pedal, ideally something that will sound like Mudhoney. Any ideas?

What's the best way to go here? Second hand muff? What clones are about at that price?

Didn’t Mooer do a Big Muff clone? Can’t remember the name now.

You can probably get a second hand Big Muff for that sort of price though, if that’s the sort of fuzz they’re after.

Is that the Boss FZ-2 clone? If so, good call. If not, might also be a good call but I can’t comment

Why did I think the Behringer Superfuzz was discontinued? Wasn't there one of their fuzzes that was the stopped making kind of sharpish, and now it's sought after?

So, it seems that for abotu £40, you can get both a Superfuzz and a Big Muff. That should do it!

FAB fuzzes were mad cheap brand new, and even cheaper used. Still my favorite fuzz

Despite the album name, I never thought the Big Muff sounded very Mudhoney...y.

The Behringer Super Fuzz is a musssssst, that shit sounds like Touch Me I'm Sick all day long (plus, anything I've heard from them has octave fuzz all over it)
