DIY Headphone Amp

To stop spamming/derailing the Iridium/Nux discussion I made this thread. Built myself a headphone amp.

It's an MXR Headphone Amp circuit I got from the excellent tagboardeffects layout webpage:

Sounds pretty good!
Wouldn't recommend using without an amp sim/cab sim up front as it's very neutral sounding in an unsurprising "guitar into mixer kind of way", but with the Harley Benton American Sound (Tech21 Blonde clone) up front it sounds good to my ears!

can you use this for a record player pre amp?

like put RCA's on each side instead of 1/4"s ? because if you could it would be the coolest looking fucking phono preamp ever made

What sort of cartrdige? Crystal? Sure, no problem. Magnetic - you'll need more gain and RIAA equalisation.
