Received my new “cyborg” pedal by Rare Buzz Effects today. A limited run version of their Snitch pedal. It’s a Rat type with switch for Silicon/LED/Germanium clipping, effectively giving you a Rat2, Turbo and You Dirty in one. All profits went to charities supporting the people of Ukraine. They raised $9500 USD. It sounds great and stacks amazingly well with the 1981.

Good stuff. Tbh Ukrainians were figuratively killing it for some time with everything even before the war. The oil money while was a blessing for the post Soviet countries like Russia and Kazakhstan was also a curse as it meant that there was a shit ton of it and you didn't have to do shit in order to bathe in it. Ukrainians didn't have any oil money and instead they learned to make profit without oil and often times quite creatively. In Russia in order to have access to the oil money in the beginning you had to jump through a couple of hoops held by the autocrat and you could do your business, but with the time all you did was jumping the hoops and your professionalism at any given field was irrelevant - if you jumped the hoops nicely you were filthy rich. In Ukraine if you weren't good, you didn't earn shit, so they became good professionals. The clashing of the two armies depicts how things are generally done in Ukraine and how they are done in Russia
