Soft Reboot of my Squier FSR Jaguar

I picked up this Squier FSR Silver Sparkle Jaguar back in April. I had swapped out the Vibrato for an AVRI Vibrato and did a general setup.
I decided the pickups were just not cutting it and purchased a set of EP Custom Jaguar pickups that came in today. I also wanted to change the overall look of the guitar so I swapped the stock red pickguard for an aged white/cream one and some aged pickup covers. I actually swapped the pickups myself and I am thrilled with the results.
These pickups sound better than my AVRI Jaguar pickups. I was inspired by Mike Adam's Coke Bottle Green Sparkle Jaguar and Johnny Marr Jaguar.

Thanks.
I am getting some weird static-type sounds when I am on the lead circuit on both pickups. The static is not there on the rhythm Circuit or with other guitars.
I will pull off the switch panel tomorrow and make sure all the connections are solid.

One of my ground Wires need the solder to be reflowed.
I am playing with pickup heights and dialing in everything.

Exactly. I also really like the Sparkle finish with the matching headstock.
I fixed all my pickup issues last night (bad ground soldering on my part) but I discovered the tone pot needs to be replaced. I attempted to clean it twice but still making all kinds of noise. I plan to replace both the volume and tone pots on the lead circuit.

Though I'm not an amber person my Jazzmaster is largely Squier parts. I think it's a pretty good way to go for any Fender type guitar, especially if you've got the time and money to do upgrades here and there.
PS: Is this not considered "scumbag sparkle" because the flakes are smaller?

scumbag silver is silver flake and a black pickguard. White pickguard does not qualify since there was a silver/white super-sonic that came out before the silver/black jagmaster and no one gave a fuck. it wasn't until the silver/black guitar came out was when shit got ugly
