I just love that they are picking the obscure stuff now to copy and remove the magic from.

If they are going to be ?15 I might pick up a few of those. The BD100 is alright, the DD100 however isn't.

it's no secret they haven't made a pedal that ISN'T a boss or ehx copy yet. before they got threatened with a cease and desist or something, they were even going to have the same colours as the Boss units, and names that were even closer to the original pedals.

I think the cease and desist was for the blatant copying of the exteriors rather than circuits. I don't think the music industry could really start suing each other for the copying of circuits.

There is a Behringer dealer down the road from me, might be worth checking out in a few months.

I think the reason why is because Boss can't do anything about them copying the circuits but they can argue Trademark on the color of the boxes and placement of the letters. That's the only logical reason for why they'd change the Packaging but keep the guts the same.

if their dmm clone is cheap enough ill pick one up, aswell as the slow gear clone. behringer has gone crazy on coping stuff.

They've been doing it for years with other audio equipment, rack gear and that sort of thing.

FFS, WHY? Even Boss didn't sell that many of these. It literally looks like they just copied down every pedal from Boss' history and put out clones.

That really is the craziest part. This 2nd time around they copied some of the most obscure and sought after Boss pedals. I bet next round they do some Pitch Shifters and Harmonizers.
