Yup, that's the sucker!
Ugly little thing isn't it?
But when this guy gets a hold of one of them-

I've heard the end product! Fantastic, bang-for-buck head.
I might have to sell the Vox definitely now as things at home haven't been good so might look at moving out.
Need they money for 'bond'(if you guys even have that?). The Peavey should be cheap and I already have a 212 I'm borrowing indefinitely.

You know you're gonna turn heads with a name like that...
Sorry you're having to sell the Vox - I have no idea what a bond is. What have you done to upset your rentals?

You pay it to get out of jail.

Yeah, Rockmaster is pretty pox name, ha? The only thing that amp has going for it is the sound after mods.
Thanks guys. Yeah, it's basically 'you treat this house like a hotel', 'youre never home', 'we never know where you are'.
Most of it bullshit... but I can't really argue in regards to not being home all the time, but they always know where I am.
So basically it's "well, you're not home most of the time anyway, so you might as well be out permanently".
Love the olds to bits but yeah... personality clashes are a given with me. I don't mind much.
Sucks about the Vox though. It was either that or the car, and no way could I get a deal like that
on the car again. Friends been nice enough to lend me his 212 as he never uses it (he plays acoustic stuff in bars).
I'm moving out with my best friend, and in the nicest area possible (St Kilda!) but it wont be comfortable as living at home.
i.e. Guitar gear will be super hard to come across hence why I'm selling the things I can 'kinda' replace.

Oh. Bond is money you give at the start of your renting period incase you fuck anything up.
Usually it's 1-2months worth rent. The places I'm looking at are $300au a week ($150 each) and avg. bond is about $1,300.
clickz
That's one of the places we're going to check out. Fits in our price range perfectly and it couldn't be in a better area in Melbourne.
Esplande = Where the biggest acts play.
Just check out the damn restaurant and takeout numbers on the bottom.
Anyway, no doubt I'll be drinking Thursday night so I'll make a bitchin' thread about it in the Pub just for my buddy Shad. BFF!

No. Bond. You get that back if you don't fuck anything up.

Yeah, a "deposit" is what civilized nations call it. You get it back if you don't wreck the place.

Well if we put a "deposit" on something we don't get shit back.
That's like the shit kids do at kmart when using layaway to buy their stuff.
There's usually a 10-15% charge that's called a deposit in which you don't get back.
A deposit has many connotations. i.e. I'ma deposit my sperm onto your face if you don't quit ridin' my nuts.

So you guys call a deposit bond and a down payment a deposit?
WHAT A COUNTRY!

A deposit in financial terms is normally refundable or a contribution to an amount that you owe anyway... i.e. in the case of a guitar it won't be refundable but it is taken off the final price.
No wonder your parents are fed up of you with a mouth on you like that. CRIMENY

Refundable, yes, if the house is exactly in the condition it was given to you in.
It's like a security deposit of sorts if you look at it like that but it's called a bond.
I mean what's the difference between an Island and a continent? Same biz.
And screw you both. This is in regards to an amp, nothing else really.
Shouldn't you be modding or something? Seriously? Or is it just the status quo now?

What do you mean, "modding"?
