building a 6x8" speaker cab?

i am bored in the computer lab. i realized 8" speakers can be found brand new for $20, and even less used. i can steal plywood, & thought of building a cheapo Supro/Airline/vintaj m0j0 cab at some point.
how could i wire six speakers to be 16ohm?

I don't think it's possible.

I guess, it'd have to be asymmetrical? I don't really understand how it works, but it's probably possible.

Because I'm fucking awesome:

You can get 4 and 8 ohm configurations but two speakers will be driven harder.
This top one I would recommend - all speakers work the same power
In the following two, 2 of the speakers take more power.
4 ohm total
8 ohm total

Yeah, I rock.

It's not possible to get 16 ohms load from 6 speakers.

Yeah, I rock.
No, you don't. It's not possible. You also didn't solve the problem at all.

I was joking dude, hence the face with the silly glasses. You posted what I thought was the correct solution, and I thought it was correct to my half assed prediction.
But seriously, what's stopping him doing the bottom one with 32 ohms on the left row and 16 ohms on the right row?

When was the last time you saw an 8" 32 ohm speaker?

I don't think I have, but using the only knowledge I have in this field, maths, that seems to be able to work. What exactly would that mean?

It's completely possible to do it with 32 ohm speakers, but it's hypothetical seeing as guitar speakers come in 8 ohm and 16 ohm impedance values and rarely in 4 ohm. 32 ohm I've never seen.
Plus Aaron would need to source 2 32 ohm speakers with a higher output than the other 4. I don't think it's possible.

But if he made it happen, it'd be pretty fucking awesome.

Not really, you still have the inbalance on power to two speakers

Yeah, but nobody else has one of those.

thanks mike!
i was perusing eBay and noticed that Jensen 8" 20watt MOD speakers go for $20 new in box, in 8 & 4 ohm. there was also a Celestion g8t-35 or something like that for like $10, and tons of practice amps for $10 w/ 8" speaks in them. saw a JBL 8" too. lots of options.
it's just a super cheapo speaker cab brainstorm i had. could be quite small & hopefully push air like a 2x12, with more 'voice' flavor cause of 6 (possibly different) speakers.
not sure if i'll do it.

I'm totally interested in how this turns out, please do it!

i was also thinking of a 3/4" cardboard baffle for those Silver-tones. just to make it extra cheap.
