it's actually a pretty cool pedal. my store is an EH dealer so i'm exposed to all of those pedals. it's not as versatile as the Little Big Muff or the orginial Big Muff, but it sounds good. however, the Micro Metal Muff sounds EXCELLENT. great damn pedal.
Being in love, I've found, is a lot like working at a factory - eventually, you get replaced by either a foreigner or a machine...

Try reading reviews and looking for demo videos before laying out cash..
EH say it "adds just a touch of funky dirt", sounds like the kinda thing you wanna run into a crunchy amp as a bit of a dirty solo boost, like Shad said.
I'd say try it either side of your favourite distortion pedal- beforehand it could be used to goose the other pedal into tons more distortion and sustain, afterwards would be more of a volume increase.
A few reviews on HC suggest it's to be used in conjunction with your guitar's volume control to clean it up when you need that, like a lot of guys did with tube amps (and still do, for that matter).
