Is the footswitch as much of a cunt to activate as I've heard?

Yes it is.... but it works alot better now, after i hit the shit out of it a few timesDoog wrote: Is the footswitch as much of a cunt to activate as I've heard?
it still doesn't want to engage sometimes or disengage.... i want to rehouse it
I used it on the main riff, and the 1st solo, Behringer muff on the 2nd solo. That was the last recording done using the "Peavey Halfstack Of Impenetrable Saturation and Unreachable Clean"
Usingg the standard bridge pickup on a stabndard telecaster, much like jimmy page would have done, if he didnt do those drugs that made him buy marshalls and gibsons.
oh god worst typing everee

There are two versions of most of those Tone Lok pedals. Underneath the latch one version has two springs on the sides(early version) and ends up being sticky to switch, and the improved version with a spring in the middle. Look for the 2nd version with middle spring.
I've had both, i can attest to the fact the first has a flawed design.

Tried one out today (2 spring model) and it's pretty neat and only like ?40, cheaper than most Boss pedals over here. I've bought nasty-awesome fuzz pedals in the past and they end up just being toys I tool around with in my bedroom, sometimes in the "studio".
Did sound good though, even the lowest gain setting in "0% Damage" mode was pretty gnarly in a kind of vintage way. Maybe something to look at again in t'future.
