I have a digitech death metal and was never sure if it was broken or not.
i have to keep pressing the pedal to keep it on.
The boss pedals ive seen just have to be taped once to keep it on.

The problem is you have a death metal pedal
but other than that, I'd say it's broken and needs a new switch or sumfin

Yes it's broken, the pedal should "latch" after one stomp and stay on - can you take it apart and take some photographs for me of the switch in particular - number of wires etc? We can talk you through replacing the switch.

maybe the switch just got dust in it or the wire broke.

It was like that when i bought it new.
It all seems to be in mint condition inside.
Ive used it once with a power adaptor and somehow it worked properly.

that's such a rude, filthy sounding pedal. my friend had one for his first dirtbox, it's like the audio equivalent of a murder/suicide of your guitar sound.

I hate to say it, but I played a Digitech Death Metal the other night and loved it. Haha But I have too many distortion pedals, so I'll stay away from it.

Nice to see you join the gang up on Justin crew as well. If only I could be a fly on the wall in private conversations.
