This is properly weird.

Single channel amp with one EQ, but 5 modes which change the "voicing and EQ of the amp".

Tree - Clean
Star - "Plexi" style
Bull - modded JCM800 style
Cactus - looser Marshall
MudflapGirl - hiGain

You can set a mode on the front and rear Pentatone selectors and footswitch between them. Very odd. I imagine you'll get massive volume/EQ changes.

It's bloody expensive too - like ?1,200.

Fuckin' dumb. Why not put them both on the front? Idiots.

It's Peavey. Just seems so many counterintuitive features and at that price? I think not.

Cosmetically it looks nice thuogh.

the penta voice knob looks like the same concept the old Orange amps had, the FAC knob.

Guitar Center closest to me now stocks Peavey, i was a bit dissapointed in them.

The EQ controls are very simple. There are four excellent sounds, and one awful one (I'll let you guess which). This isn't designed as some ultra-modern switchmonster, it's more like a slightly more flexible Marshall Vintage Modern, with you controlling it mostly from the guitars volume control rather than relying on simply switching between the two modes.

Did Eric just blindly defend Peavey again?

You know you're about to rawk out when you switch amp channels from the Star of David to a Cactus.

We all know the FENDER BASSMAN TEN is clearly the superior amp, as well as Goldilocks' amp of choice.

If you like Bassmans, you like Marshalls.

Fact.

It goes up to 11. That's not remotely funny.
