1. No internal 9v battery connector.
2. Requires 500mA DC input (Voodoo pedal power II/One spot, etc won't work), although I've had one do alright at 300mA.
3. Has a tad of tone suck when bypassed.
4. Most people don't understand the Flerb setting.
5. It's another quality "Made in USA" product from EHX.

I think they're cool, when 'verb is needed in a small setting and an amp won't deliver. The spring reverb setting is great (I like 11:00 to 1:00), hall reverb is a little overbearing(perceived output drop sucks once it makes sense enough to be heard), and the flerb is...well, it's a fast flange with reverb, good fun for what it's worth.

yeah the flerb is really appealing to me.

i considered getting one of those too, most of my amps have reverb but on a few it's not footswitcheable/reverb on the drive channel too when it's on on the clean channel etcetc... the thing with ehx is that they do the job, and can also go a little bit more extreme than most other pedals in the same price range (typical for ehx to always add that extra weirdness.. but you're not gonna find yourself using it a lot.. just nice little extras in my opinion)

i didn't get one because i wanted to test that dano spring king first, still didn't get to that tho..most shops over here are lame

i used to have one and sold it cuz my amp had reverb. now im getting another fender bassman ten (no verb) so i traded a dl4 for that and a distortion+. i remember liking it alright. hopefully the bypass can be fixed.
