Where can I get a replacement Melody Maker single coil pup? What's in those robroes from another planet?
The only one I have found so far is a Curtis Novak for $110. It's beefed up to a P90, which is appealing, but he also has a
nuclear magnet robot gizmo you can place into the core of a normal one and make it do the same thing for $35. I figure if I could find a cheaper basic pup I could come out ahead. That's me--always thinking.

I am watching one auction for the Melody pup. Otherwise I am getting Curt's.
Meanwhile I got some used hot rod motherfucker Novak Filtertrons today from an auction that ended TWO days ago. I don't think I have ever been as psyched about pickups. I have had a few turn out to be more vintage than I expected, which was cool. But I gotta say it's the SHIT to get something made by someone you sorta know. I am sure they will split the Coronado in fucking half. I will have to stuff shirts, pillows and thai food in there to stop the pig sounds. FUCK. YES.
