I wasn't sure about the hype surrounding Victoria amps, then I ssen that jcyphe had replied in this thread, and that I ought to see what he thinks. Bob Margolin who played guitar in muddy's band uses them. The thing about the Bassman is that it's the "Chicago Blues" amp, all these years later all those guys are still using the Bassman or amps based on that design. Dobro=National I think. Made lap steelz and resonators I think. I don't know I'm sleepy and have a cold, I can't think too straight.
Though I think Dobro amps were made, but they were all tiny ones.
