Sounds really really good - especially the first and second clean modes, they sounded great. Loving the clean with just a touch of break up.

Look forward to an extensive sample when you get it.

I'm going to live on the Clean and Crunch Channel modes I think, with probably the Orange OD-1 mode as my really overdriven sound. I can't frigging wait - it's complete torture

I'll make samples of each of the channels separately in their own mp3. The reverb sounded badass too.

Try that and then going to Music.

The clean channel is the best thing about that amp, all three modes, sounds like an old plexi or JCM800. The high gains sound too fizzy in the upper mids and don't have enough balls IMO. I base this more on the DVD sampler I got free on the front of a Total Guitar mag.

If you're only going to use the first two modes on one channel, why do you want a four channel amp Mike? Wouldn't you be better off with a Laney GH100L halfstack?

Methinks it'd sound a lot better at gig volumes.

Those samples are very quiet recordings.

I have a 3 channel Marshall tube amp and I love it.

The reason I want it is that I love

1) all three clean modes
2) all three crunch modes
3) OD1 mode green and orange

You can assign any mode and any master volume and reverb level to each of the 6 footswitches, meaning I can have any 6 of my favourite sounds footswitchable.

I have played the amp. It is amazing.

I think it sounds good in those samples, not as good as in person, but you can't deny those Clean Channel sounds.

He just said he bases that opinion more on the video demos, where the amp was being played a gig volume.

if you base your opinion on a video demo, recorded and sampled and played by a douche you're an idiot.

the amp kills in person. There is no other way to judge it.

You finally tried one out then? I musta missed that post.

I tried one in London before buying it. It was around the balls time, hence I wasn't really threadaholic.

It was £850 so I bought online instead.
