Damn ng, you buy a lot of gear for a guy with no job.

But kewl, dude- it gets the thumbs up on HC, looks pretty snazzy.

yeah dude!
i just sold my HRD a few days ago and found this amp at the used shop today and didn't have enough so i sold an audio snake and went and got it before the shop closed. WOW.
I'm really behind on my student loans though. damn.
1. get a nice cab with v30's or something
2. pay off student loans
3. hope my car stays running
i have kind of a rule that i only use money from selling gear to buy more gear.

I want to try it with different cabs.
The dudes at the metal recording forum are all like "blah blah, some of the crate blue voodoo cabinets come with vintage 30's blah blah" - i don't care, the one i was talking to them about sounded like SHIT with every amp i've put on it - like 4-5 different ones. wtf.
"blah blah, it's not an UBERSHCALLABAETWTF, OR ENGL, OR HIGAIN PEAVEY. BLAH BLAH BLAH." IT HAS 11 FUCKING TUBES IN IT.
I want to take the back off and check the speakers, but it's not mine. I'll probably do it anyway. Also, I think my little crate cab has Celestion Lead 80's in it. They sound shite too. I'll check it sometime and let you guys know.

I checked the speakers in both the Crate cabs. They both like noname shits.
The Blue Voodoo cab had no info really on the speakers. The other minicab has SLM pro audio or something on it. GAY.

go for the avatar 2x12 cab with v30's or 1 v30 and 1 greenback. For under 300 new, they are a great deal... I am thinking of getting a second one, along with a second Tiny Terror, and getting rid of all my dirt pedals..... Just natural amp gain...... (well maybe just run a tuner, sparkledrive, and small clone....)

Yeah, I'm hoping I can get some cash together for a better cab with v30's. I really would like a slant 4x12, but it doesn't look like avatar does a slant version. I may just go with the v30/greenback 2x12 idea too. It all depends on if i can get some moneys.

If you have a problem getting the sound out of this amp,get some help.
A friend of mine used to be in the band "DEATH" and he dialed it in.
