They're getting a shipment in at the end of next week so I should have my new head towards the start of the week beginning 26th March (my birthday is the 28th). I'm thinking 8 days until they get the amps in and then the weekend means I'll probably get the thing Tuesday or Wednesday.
Excited!

I will poast them when I gets it. I'll make separate mpThrees for each channel cos there's three modes on each and that.

I was thinking about this amp this morning on the tube. I kinda like the idea more and more, but i could never justify having a head+cab since I'm a bedroom warrior at the moment and likely to be for a while yet.

Good news Mike! Nice birthday present! Am waiting for somewhere in Exeter to get one in so I can have a play.

A head and a 2x12" isn't too bad even if you just play in your room. A combo amp is smaller yes, but a head and a cab leaves you infinite room for expansion/upgrade in the future.
Plus nothing sounds as great as a closed back cab in my opinion.

Thanks Thom. I got a bonus at work for all my hardwork which has taken the edge of the price

Sweet
Likewise my bonus came through this week, hence the delay pedal question. Got to love when hard work pays off/out.

Indeed!
I didn't even know it was on the cards or that my company did it. It's nice to know that those countless late nights working didn't go to waste!

It looks great mike. Are you gonna wear ripped jeans and pull pouty faces when you get it?

That looks clean and very good.
The seller is a twat though - making you pay +4% to cover paypal fees is not on.

lol.. most people get all stupid about there being lots of knobs on Marshalls like the 6100 and the JVM. As far as I'm concerned independent EQs is a good thing.
