Man, the volume on that reish sucks! Its like half the volume with the dial maxed out! The copy I had was equal to the clean tone at like 9 o'clock!

In this day and age, shit like that isn't acceptable.

FENDER, AH PISS ON YO PEDALS!

The more I watch, the worse the pedal looks, the tone control is crap! The dial on mine covered like three times as much in the way of sound, and the boost added volume, gain and a upper mid snarl, far more useful than that shit.

+1. That aspect made it a lot easier for me to sell it. Had I known the fucking knobs were worth almost asm uch as I sold the hwole thing for, I would have chosen another route.

Indeed it does but I'm still a gear nerd so I keep going back like an idiot. One look at their forum (and lack of traffic) shows you they're not doing well.

Gearwire is still an interesting read, but fact is their demos suck - they spend longer showing you whats in the box than actually playing, then he just turns the gain and tone knobs a tiny bit, and thats it. and he always uses a telecaster on the broidge pickup, grrrr! Do humbuckers not exist in his world?

Also the gearwire guy totally looks like he's dead inside; jesus, have some fun!

They sould get Johnny DeMarco in who does the Boss/Roland demos for their site- man he's so enthusiatic and he proper shows off the gear, i love him!

Also have you noticed that since he reviewed the Marshall MG100DFX for the gearwire amp labs, he started using that amp to test all pedals through.

The MG100DFX aint even a valvestate, it's a step below - it's the lowest line of solid state amps Marshall do! Why use that piece of crap to test pedals through?

Then the gearwire guy complained when the Digitech distortion factory sounded too bright with too much harsh harmonics - thats kinda what you get with a solid state marshall, jees..

He did, but he gave it to Billy Corgan around 'Mellon Collie' time
