I'm glad I'm not the guy whose job it is to insert and pull out quarter inch jack plugs all day...

for a minute there I thought you said I'm glad I'm not the only one whose job it is to insert and pull out quarter inch jack plugs all day..
I'm so buying some of their boss vintage deleted pedal knockoffs when they come out

Nice find, Mikester. I think I'll pick up a Super Feedbacker clone when they come out, if mostly just to give myself some first hand experience with Behringer stuff.
edit: wait, I had the Muff clone, didn't I. Hmm.

I tell ya what - I have a Eurorack602A Mixer and it fucking rocks. It's just a little 6 channel mixer with 2 proper mic channels with phantom power and XLR inputs - the mic preamps are nice and quiet and clear. It's a good piece of kit. Well sturdy too.
I think their mixing/recording stuff is generally of a high standard as it's all ripped off Mackie.
I too am looking forward to getting some of the obscure pedals when they turn up. I'm interested in the DMM clone, I bet it's not bad.
On my list to try:
DynaComp
VB-2
NoiseGate
DMM
DM-2
SansAmp Classic
I reckon if you're an effects beginner they make immense stuff for the price. Them and the Danelectro Minis.

yeah, I'm hoping the bypass isn't as wack as you experienced.

Yeah, that and the flimsy pots ruined that pedal for me, it actually sounded really good.
Man, I was trying to fix my Korg tuner last night (long story) and found out the footswitch is a sprung post like the Muff copy too! It just clicks a little button on the PCB!
I guess it was kinda obvious going from how smooth the click is, but still. At least the bypass is decent.

yeah I figured that - at least it has a vaguely positive action to it. I love that little guy.
What did you do to your DT-10 you monster?!

The adaptor jack was getting iffy when moved side to side, it kept making my signal cut out when I'd hit other pedals. So I found an old pedal and took out the adaptor jack. When removing the old adaptor jack from the DT10, I fucked up part of the board. I spent ages trying to get it to work solidly, but it was really erractic. Then it stopped working full stop, battery too.
Have had to order a new one, I'm such an idiot. I shoulda just got a battery clip adaptor thing from Diago.
Not the most clever thing I've done, gotta be said.

I probably would have proceeded in the same way, don't feel bad.
That sucks.

I even threw together an A/B box to switch from amp to my little Korg tuner, hopefully the DT10 will arrive tomorrow so I won't have to use it the shows on Friday and Saturday.
I'm gonna see if I can get it to work again. Maybe I'll get lucky and fix it and just sell on the new one. Maybe not..

At least you have a plan either way.

WK then Caution Horses, the jerk-shout-dance-punk band I just joined on bass, Aslett drums. First gig with them, should be awesome, I only have like 5 lines to sing the whole night so I can rock out instead of being tied to a mic.

www.myspace.com/cautionhorses - the mp3s are from before I joined. Not great quality, but I assure you Russ gtr/vox writes the best lyrics.
SEXXX
I'm an animal
An animal
and I'm comparable to my genitals
I I I
React to stimuli
I feel the need to breathe, breed, feed and
I wanna eject
With all the sound effects
I wanna eject
Without the side effects
Feel like making love, might need some shoving
That ain’t making love, that’s just fucking
Gonna do my best mating dance
So put that thing back into your pants
I thought there was something between us
Turned out to be my penis
I wanna eject
With all the sound effects
I wanna eject
Without the side effects
Feel like making love, might need some shoving
That ain’t making love, that’s just fucking
Bass amp is whatever is at the show/the bass rig at my practise space. Jazz bass > Nobels ODR with bass all the way up > Korg DT10 > amp. Simple, Simon.
