Why shouldn't I buy one?

There is no reason. I want one. So bad. They are super-awesome. DO IT.

But I can't justify it even for a second.

I dream of a budget two amp setup, my Crate Power Block set to cleans into one speaker of my 2x12", the Tiny Terror into the other for overdrive and an A/B box to switch my guitar between the two little heads.

One tone control can be fine (works well on my Roland Microcube), but thats cos it's designed to work with the included speaker. if i were even considering using a head through a cabnet, i'd want to be able to EQ it properly. cos different cabs sound different.

Also this is being sold as a practise amp, and all practise amps need reverb. guitar at home sounds crappy without it.

That said, i still wanna try a tiny terror, and if a cheap one came up on ebay i'd buy it.

In fact the idea of a tiny portable tube head is awesome, and i'm suprised either Marshall or Fender haven't released one yet.

Only thing I guess is that they're not giggable unless you want straight up OD-out-the-wazoo sounds?

Or Mic it up I guess. I hope it can be gigged in some way or another 'cause I'm getting one!

Even then, you'd need a fair bit of foldback to have your guitar loud enough for your own monitoring if using a clean tone.

personally i just can't stand guitar on it's own without reverb.

in a band or practise situation fine, but playing by yourself in your bedroom (ooh err), guitar on it's own to me sounds "dry", and just sounds nicer with a touch of reverb. it fills out the sound.

and yes you can get reverb pedals, but having reverb before amp distortion = stupid.

depends how they do it. on a head this small it would have to be digital reverb - but who cares, digital can sound good.

if they were really nice, they should just give us an effects loop, and allow us to add the reverb. only 2 extra jacks on the back.

mickie08 has a tiny terror, and i think he's gigged with it. i know for sure it was used at the last albq, and all reports were that it held up very nicely in that room. i was quite impressed when i jammed on it.

If I have mine in time, and if nobody else does, I'll totally bring mine to the DCMU so I can be the envy of all you ngz, then maybe I won't have to be the coat holder all night.

I too would never use reverb in a live situation, as it tends to make the sound a bit mushy. plus you have natural reverb in a bigger playing space.

You dont think you have natural reverb in your bedroom?

Depends. My bedroom is quite small with a huge curtain and double bed so the room is quite dead in sound and I need the reverb.

If you need anything to practise guitar other than a guitar, your hands and a plectrum, something is going wrong.

Aye. Although, loads of overdrive, chorus, delay, and reverb all at the same time makes for some pretty awesome bedroom hero guitarmanship.

Aye, but you can only practse for what, half a hour, before having to rock out. And how are you going to pratise your rock poses without all that stuff? Surely you teach your pupils about rock poses?

and if you knew the definition of the word "live," you'd not have felt the need to be a prick about it. generally speaking, when i'm playing in my room/house/anywhereinthefuckingworld, it's live. i don't use reverb at those times.

now, i know you're tempted to splooge out another witty response (for which you'll look an ass once again), but i would recommend that you read the rest of my post and try and glean from it the fact that in addition to the many members of this forum who have played a tiny terror, there is an owner (his screen name is in that post), and he'd probably be more than happy to share his direct (LIVE) experience with the tiny terror.
