Yeah man, get a Les Paul style one and you should be absolutely laughing. I have one for my Duo Sonic. I think I got it from Axesrus or maybe with my GPR order.

I think it was the £6.50 ones. Measure the diameter of your hole. It depends whether you have 9mm ot 7mm holes.

Hurb would you say this paint is worth it? Did you use the primer as well or just general primer? What about the clear, is that Nitro as well?

yes it is! Its like a million times better than halfords.
The primer from halfords is ok tho, I would get colour from the manchester guitar tech, but I would get clear from that link i posted a couple pages back. as its just about as good as mgt's its cheaper and you get a bigger can.

Coolio, I must admit I used citron polar white paint from halfords for the headstock. there was no way I was going to use 15 quid paint for the headstock that I wouldn't be able to use all of it. but I am still using the nitro clear.

How are you buying the paint? In spray cans or do you use a paint gun? How does this Nitro lark work?

Yeah it's just spray cans, they seem to spray better, and you can apply allot thicker without it dripping/runs and it dries smoother and it dries very very quickly(not cured) It's hard to explain it, but it is just better all round to the halfords steez.

Cool. I haven't finished a guitar in colour since I did the Squier YEARS ago so I can't remember what it's like. Pedals are quite forgiving (and small).
It must be hell trying to finish a guitar in this weather?

Yeah for pedals the halfords paint is fine. but for a guitar everyone should try the mgt nitro stuff. Its just a shame its so deer.
as for the weather, yeah it has been stopping play quite a bit. I was actually done, but I had a sand through right on the front(caused by me being a bit heavy handed as usual) So I have had to paint more red to try and sort it. I am letting it dry for a few days now.
Also the headstock had a bit of a mare just tonight, I sprayed some clear over the white, and the nice clean edge at the rosewood join spread out and it fucked me right off. so I have retaped it and have sprayed more white to sort the edge out.
no more clear going on the headstock. just gonna have to buff the white up.
