Yeah BacchusPaul, i'm really liking the mini humbuckers , they give a a really cool sound without being to think and nasty like most humbucker. They sound good clean and i normally hate the way a humbucker sounds clean

I have one in my Epiphone Emperor Regent, and I love it, but it's dificult to judge the pickup from that, what with it being an archtop.

I really like how responsive it is. It's like the some of the thickness of a humbucker, with the responsiveness of a single coil.

that's a great way to put it, it's just the right amount of thinkness too.

yeah i really noticed when i took the stings off to go have a look see under the hood.

I think i might keep the neck on there and refinish the headstock to match the body.

I'll call it the Firecaster
