Yep. He'd take any piece of advice that seemed to make sense as gospel, and wouldn't be swayed, as if it was a piece of information he'd fought a battle for.
I mean, the tuning thing is technically correct, but it only make sense if you're playing to a pretuned instrument, are only playing stacatto stuff and hit pretty hard. Better off to stop hitting the strings so hard like a primate and clean up your technique.

Not to mention that when the note rings out you want it to be in tune with the fucking bass guitar.

Its a little O/T but Im wondering if I should go for the new pitch black, opposed to the tried and true Dt-10. Any opinons?

If pedalboard space is a premium do it - otherwise save your money.

I have uber amounts of pedal-board space, as I am using an old kent(or homemade I havent an idea) guitar case. I blame EHX for the situation of lugging a guitar case as my pedal case. That and it was free.
